Front Desk Receptionist

We are looking for a Front desk patient coordinator to join our Village Emergency Family in League City.
Job Type: PRN (Days or Nights) and full time 7a-7pm/ 7pm-7am Location:1324 N SHEPHERD DR HOUSTON, TX 77008 Job Summary A fast paced Emergency facility is seeking a full time Patient Coordinator for its front desk operations.
This position is essential to setting the first impression of the practice and requires the ability to multi-task while always keeping a friendly disposition with patients and co-workers.
This position works closely with clinical staff and clinical providers to keep them informed of arrived patients as well as help out clinical staff as needed.
Duties include, but are not limited to: \*Greeting patients at check-in and check-out \* Obtaining required signatures on HIPAA and Consent Forms \*Collection of co-payments and other necessary patient payments \*Verification of Insurance Benefits and Demographic Info \*Answering phones and returning messages \*Communicating with patients and family members \*Handling of Medical Records and Facility Logs \*Assisting Clinical staff as needed The preferred candidate will have one or more years of experience in a health care setting; specifically with front desk protocol, insurance processes, co-payment collection.
Job Type: PRN AND FULL TIME Hourly Rate: $12.
50/hr Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $13.
