Some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Associates must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Provides training to front office staff as directed by Management.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Assists in the supervisory function of front desk employees in accordance with the Landry’s Hotel organization’s policies.
Maintains accurate records including cash flow sheet, credit card payments, registration cards, and reservation cards.
Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.
Performs functions of the Operations Manager in their absence.
Ensure compliance of all policies and Code of Conduct as specified in the Associate Handbook.
Answer inquiries from guest regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
