Hunt Law Firm, PLLC, an established family law firm, seeks a full-time paralegal to join our growing team.
The firm has offices in Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, and League City, and serves the Greater Houston area.
This position is located in League City, however, the first 1-2 months of training will be in the Katy, Texas office.
*What You’ll Bring to the Team:*
* College degree, paralegal certificate, or several years of relevant experience
* Bilingual candidates and those with prior family law experience are preferred
* Dependable; need to know the task will get done without follow-up
* Strong attention-to-detail
* Phenomenal verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to use the latest technology, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Apple/Mac computers, etc.
* Positive outlook and willingness to take on whatever tasks need to be accomplished
*What You’ll Be Doing:*
* Assisting clients with discovery and paperwork
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents
* Sending and receiving letters and faxes
* Arranging court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other appointments
* Filing documents with the court
* Assisting attorneys with other case-related tasks
* Answering incoming phone calls
* Helping to ensure the office remains neat and presentable
