Boutique 10-attorney Plaintiff's Personal Injury Trial Law Firm is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated _*Personal Injury Trial Attorney *_with 2 + years of litigation experience in either plaintiff's personal injury or bodily injury defense litigation to join its _*Downtown Houston *_office.
*TRAVEL NOTE: Our trials are sometimes in other states - you will be admitted *_*pro hac vice.
*_*Some of our trials can last 2-4 weeks at a time so you may have to live in a hotel (at the firm's expense) for several weeks to a month at a time for national trials.

_*We prefer attorneys who have some TRIAL experience but will consider those without trial experience if you have worked up cases for trial and they all settled.
You will be working on Trial Teams at our firm where all of our cases are being worked up for trial and many of them will get tried.

*IDEAL CANDIDATE will have 3-10 years experience in some of these practice areas IN TEXAS*: plaintiff's personal injury, insurance defense litigation, wrongful death, products liability, pharma cases / dangerous drug litigation, medical device litigation, car accidents, trucking accidents, and/or premises liability.
*JOB DUTIES* include working up smaller and high-value cases from initial pleadings, issuing and answering written discovery, taking depositions, motion practice, physician depos, medical record analysis, court appearances (oral argument and status calls), mediations, and trials.
Should have strong research and writing skills, including using WestLaw and Lexis.
Will be expected to meet with clients, draft demand letters, prep for court hearings, argue and draft substantive motions, draft responses to defendant's MSJs, drafting legal memos, participate in settlement negotiations, and managing all litigation files assigned to you.
Should be highly detail-oriented, independent, organized and able to multi-task.
*SALARY: $110k to $200k (Depending entirely on your experience and evaluated at interviews) *
