The Office of Injured Employee Counsel (OIEC) is the state agency that helps injured employees with their Texas workers’ compensation claims.
The agency assists, educates, and advocates on their behalf.
OIEC provides services in 20 offices across the state.
Agency services include advocacy, customer service, and dispute assistance through OIEC’s Ombudsman Program.
Policy Development and Review Director, part-time - Statewide Performs highly advanced (senior-level) project management work.
Work involves establishing the strategic goals and objectives for projects; developing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulation; and coordinating and evaluating program activities.
May direct, assign, and evaluate the work of project staff.
Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
This position works 20 hours/week, hybrid schedule.
Therefore, you will be required to be in office some days out of the week.
Employees must have a secure, dedicated workspace with Internet service.
This position: develops, establishes, and implements agency goals and objectives to ensure consistency and improve agency operations researches, develops, and implements new policies and procedures assists with the quality assistance program to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures provides feedback and input to senior management assists with report writing Qualifications This position requires: graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
