Job Description
Prepare, maintain and distribute manual/computerized Law Enforcement and Public Records.
Provide assistance for all divisions in the Police Department.
Handle and maintain confidential information.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
More than one year experience handling large volumes of computer data entry and general office procedures.
Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm.
Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation.

Federal, State and local laws, and City Ordinances to complete daily tasks
City records retention policies and practices
English grammar, spelling, punctuation
Basic math and data processing procedures
Cash drawer procedures

Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Understand and carry out oral and written directions
Accurately organize and maintain paper documents and electronic files
Meet schedules and deadlines
Interpret State laws and City ordinances to complete daily tasks
Obtain Notary Public
Cope, negotiate and resolve conflict in a crisis situation
