Provides effective and timely processing of paper flow through efficient and productive support responsibilities unique to department to provide effective, efficient, and productive results.
Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.
M.
to5:00 P.
M.
Example of Duties
This position maintains accurate records for the District Attorney's office by performing the following duties:
- maintains records
- files and issues legal documents
- prepares case folders, post file and route documents
- secures information for judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and litigations and enters data into computer
- attends court dockets and prepares plea paperwork
- assists the public by copying records, performing searches, filing motions and answering questions in the office and over the phone
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Candidate must be able to type 50 WPM and have strong computer knowledge, previous experience working with the public, telephone skills, and the ability to prioritize daily work
Knowledge of court procedures preferred, but not required
Applicant must also have strong Microsoft Office skills
